Review on EOTW Waterproof Universal Samsung Protective by Kevin Apriando

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big! Took a hike in

Excellent! Did a trip to the lake. I don't know if it's really "waterproof" because I haven't tested it. but it seems well put together and good quality and definitely seems to protect the phone for a few minutes, when I drop it and have to fish it out of the water. It's very easy to use and fits my Samsung Galaxy with the bulky Otterbox. I can use my phone while it's in my pocket to listen to audio books and take photos. I've taken it to the lake and on the boat, photographed my kids and haven't seen any moisture in the hull. It feels solid - the lanyard is solid and the clip mechanism on top is thick plastic. My only complaint is that the strap is very long - I'm 5'8" and when I hang it around my neck the bottom of the phone comes halfway up my knees and I don't see a practical way to shorten it. This is a small issue though and might be perfect for someone else. It's very easy to use and fits my Samsung Galaxy with the bulky Otterbox. Pros
  • Note: 1. Before use, put a paper towel in the bag and soak it in water for a while to check if it leaks. 2. Easy to control touch screen functions, but NOT for Touch ID fingerprint. 4. Deep pressure may affect touch screen operation. In this case, use the volume keys to take photos. 5. Waterproof bag in the fog is a normal phenomenon.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
