For those of us who have trouble removing aligners without damaging the lip, they really work. I'm on my 6th set of aligners and some of them came out easily while others were really painful - not figuratively! This tool works well, especially for the floor levelers I usually encounter. I haven't had any tool breakage issues as reported by other reviewers. At my most recent appointment, I showed it to my dentist who was delighted with the information as he has had recent patients complaining of difficulty removing aligners. I don't need a tool every time, but when I do it's a real help.
