Review on Audio Systems BV9976B Player Built by Matthew Allen

I would give this device NO STARS if I could. Does not match what is in the photo! I only had 4 icons on the main page and had to scroll to see them all. The device is also oversized in width and won't fit in a single DIN slot without trimming the dash. Also, the volume was very difficult to control. The button is very small and slippery, and the volume increases significantly from 6 to 7 on the volume meter. On the BOSS website the user manual did not match the device I received even though the model number was the same. I called BOSS to inquire about the device to see if the device I received was an older version and was told they couldn't help me as I couldn't get it directly from them bought! What the hell @?:#%! I went ahead and bought a block from them and it was the same! So I returned it (had to pay for return shipping, although they said they would take care of it, which they didn't) and also sent the Revain unit back. In general not a very good device and the sound is not impressive, there is no customer service and half the features of what is in the photo. I do not recommend this device or BOSS products. Unless you want to go through hell like me. Spend money on a famous brand. You will be happier.
