Amazing radio - DVD and video receivers built into the dash

Awesome radio. Excellent sound at high volume very clear sound. I don't notice any distortion. Much better than the factory Mazda MPV mini van radio I replaced it with. Factory speakers sound much better now. I can try my oscilloscope and input the frequency domain to see how it works out of curiosity. Fits and works perfectly. At first glance, the device looks valuable, but beware of the warranty and DOA speed.

I'll start with the basics to let people know: If your device fails during the warranty period, it's not just you You have to pay to send it, have to pay for the boss to send it back to you. In my case it was $35, more than it actually costs to ship the item to me. Of course, replacing a radio is time-consuming, but to top it off, the boss wants to make sure the buyer bears all the costs and then some if their product fails. So I have $50 shipping to guarantee a $100 product. I have bought four

Bad design and missing features.

I would give this device NO STARS if I could. Does not match what is in the photo! I only had 4 icons on the main page and had to scroll to see them all. The device is also oversized in width and won't fit in a single DIN slot without trimming the dash. Also, the volume was very difficult to control. The button is very small and slippery, and the volume increases significantly from 6 to 7 on the volume meter. On the BOSS website the user manual did not match the device I received even though…

Not fully installed yet

I can only give one star at this time. I will say that it has been recommended in its favor on various YouTube channels over the past three years. I've done my homework so I don't feel like I bought a bad head unit. I just can't get mine to turn on. I don't know why yet, but they're always bad, sometimes from the factory. Also, a note. I still have some time to play around with this and try to figure out where and why it's not working. The instructions should be a bit more customer friendly…

Great stereo! Good price!

I just installed this stereo receiver in my 2006 Mazda Miata. That's a lot better than the factory stereo (which was acceptable). The sound quality was an immediate improvement, the DVD player loads quickly and has a nice clear display. I was pleasantly surprised that the Bluetooth setup was so easy that there were many options to customize in the menu.
