Review on Sargent Art Plastilina Non-hardening Modeling Clay: 5 lb White Clay for Creative Projects by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I liked it so much that I bought it again.

Playdough is a "modeling sketch". That's what he's there for. Sketch your ideas, practice your artistic skills. It's fine for that purpose, and what artist doesn't need some extra practice? This material never dries out and is always ready for your next idea. from it, so I work with this material both in modeling and sketching and I love it. Before I first bought it, I was concerned that it might melt too much under gravity, especially when making huge block sculptures, but it holds its shape very well. It's strong, but not so strong that it's too difficult to carve. It's just wonderful! I took the whole 5 pound block and made a big fox head out of it with big ears and even the ears haven't lost shape and it has been laying for weeks now. Forget the chunky rebar I like to carve out of big blocks, this one feels more real to me and the material is cheap enough for the pound that you can easily do it. Maybe one day I'll buy enough of this stuff to try an entire life size figure, that would be fun to try. I don't know what else to say? Neigh). This is a new generation play dough for adults that can be used over and over again. Where were these things growing up? There may be better brands out there, but to be honest these things are already so good that I don't feel the need to shop. Maybe in a few years I'll be more selective in my goals. Yes, until then I'll be wearing a silly Italian hat and scarf even though it's summer. oh yes, presumptuous artistry, here I am! This hate you feel inside? make it up!
