Have been using these regulators for about 20 years. They are possibly one of the best solutions for us very small people who can actually choke to death in a seat belt accident. But they are far from perfect and often need to be replaced. The latter sit so tightly on the belt that they hardly slip out of the way of the other driver, no matter which way the red button is pressed. Conversely, if they get lost too much, they'll fall apart and pieces will slide out of the car when the door is opened, never to be seen again. If they don't slide off the road, the seat belt won't retract, and non-users hit them with car doors and they break. Therefore, the cost to customers is quite high due to the need to replace so often. I think they should sell cheaper or make a better product. Your choice is the best for the manufacturer. My guess is that if a manufacturer orders large quantities, they can significantly lower the price for their customers, but still increase their customer base. In the meantime, if I find a better solution that doesn't break easily, I'll switch products.
