I bought these to replace the fan on my Master Hyper 212 Evo Black Edition cooler. Unfortunately, this fan started making clicking noises and I was unable to find a replacement through CM. I replaced the standard fan that came with the cooler with a P12 and was very happy. It's quiet and cools my CPU better than the included fan. Before replacing it with the P12, I attempted to replace it with a Noctua NF-F12 which is said to be heatsink oriented. Although this fan is quiet, it doesn't seem to perform very well considering the price. My 5600x struggled to deal with temperature spikes, causing all my fans to spin up briefly to compensate, negating any noise benefit. If anyone is in the same situation as me, I would recommend the Arctic P12 as a replacement for the stock CPU cooler fan instead of an alternative. It cools well and the best thing is the price!
