The included base is poorly made
The included base does not make good contact with the module pins unless you press very hard and it does not sit flat so even with good pressure it wobbles sideways. Anyway, after many tries, I was able to read what I believe to be the correct image - reliable enough to just program the buttons. I wouldn't try to actually flash my ews with this, as the image is difficult to read I expect it to mess up the written part of the flash slightly. I certainly did the job I needed, but I could have done much, much better.
