This bed is highly recommended. I keep it in the bay window next to the plants; My five cats take turns sleeping in it, so it's rarely seen empty. The shape and style is decorative and also offers a slight overhang that gives cats a sense of protection. My cats are mostly long haired and weigh between 12 and 20 pounds. There is enough space in the capsule for one cat at a time. The cushion can be removed and vacuumed or washed. When I first bought the capsule, I felt I was paying too much for a treat that couldn't be used; I thought it was worth the price.
