This product was a great choice to quickly fix a leak in my in-ground pool. My leak was on the outside of one of the 1½" Schedule 40 PVC pipes that ran through the sidewall of the pump return nozzle. In my case, the jet nozzle fitting was a friction fit in the pipe, so I slid the jet nozzle to make the connection between the 1½- "" PVC pipe and the Cement/Diamond Bright wall was exposed. Use a paring knife to scrape out the Cement/Diamond Bright residue around the pipe prior to installation, slightly increasing the leakage at that point. Mix by hand until a uniform color was achieved.This mixed epoxy was pushed into the gap between the 1½" PVC and the cement/Diamond Bright until I could push no more into the gap. The leak was found before the repair. Once the epoxy sealed the leak, the food coloring showed that the leak had been sealed.
