I chose this model because it was the lightest on the list and got good reviews. It seems to work well, but the instructions were so minimal that it was a bit tricky to set up. It seemed to take quite a long time for the home screen to appear on my TV screen, but once it did it was fairly easy to complete setup. Now it starts immediately. Part of the problem may have been that my Smart TV and LG were brand new to me and had almost no helpful instructions, complicating things. Once I managed to get this thing set up and connected to my iPhone, it mirrored the screen well and showed my photos on the big screen, which was my goal. It also picks up slideshow audio well, so I have to say it works great. Once I figured out where the screen mirroring feature was on my iPhone, it was easy, and even though I downloaded the recommended app, I didn't need to use it. In short, this thing does what it says and has stayed connected so far. I don't stream movies to my phone, so I have no plans to try something like this.
