I bought this as an alternative to the monitor arms I prefer but it doesn't fit my desk due to the design (antique with little clearance). for the clamp, and I didn't want to drill for the socket). It doesn't quite match the monitor arms in motion, but it's acceptable. Adjusting the height and incline is a bit fiddly, as you have to loosen and then tighten the screws before adjusting. This is aided somewhat by the clamp for the hex keys needed to adjust, however. While the assembly instructions are clear and simple, the VESA mount is a bit vague. Also, I was able to complete the build and install on my own, but I would recommend having someone else help if possible as it would make setup and installation easier. Overall, a decent alternative to monitor arms, but somewhat more limited in movement and orientation.
