Review on 🔧 Dorman 924-052 Body Mount for Ford/Mercury Models: A Compatible Solution by Jake Solorzano

The body mount was too large for the frame mount hole, the threads on the underside of the mount were removed. You won't know it doesn't fit until the old bracket comes out. I couldn't find a replacement locally and had to modify the bushing A LOT and modify the original bottom A LOT to make it fit as the threads on the new Dorman 924-052 were stripped. To install this mount you must remove all seats and lift the frame to change the mount. So I had to use it. Didn't have time to return it and wait for a replacement. I bought it from Rock Auto 3 months ago and it installed great. The problem is definitely not with Revain, but with the quality control and overseas manufacturing of Dorman products in China.
