I make various pieces of furniture - some have small legs, some have large legs and I needed furniture pads that could be easily cut to fit the piece I am making. I found these great pads, they had good reviews so I gave it a try. I also bought a similar set from FurniMate for my bar stools and they worked really well. I like that they come in their own plastic container. My shop gets a lot of dust so the case helps keep things together and also helps keep the dust off of these pads until I'm ready to use them. The felt feels very dense, which is good. Not so tight that it looks like it's going to scratch the floor, but so tight that it won't break easily. The previous set of furniture pads I had was a Thomasville brand solid pad set from Costco. These FurniMate pads actually feel better than the ones Thomasville had. The adhesive on the back is very strong - I have no concerns that it will slip off for any reason. And as an added bonus, they come with a small set of clear rubber bumpers that are always handy. I have a feeling there's always a closet door that's missing a bumper. All in all it was a solid purchase!
