Suggestion: I'm new to interchangeable lens photography. I have an X-T30 with an XC15-45mm kit lens. I ordered this lens (7 craftsman 55mm 1.4f) and a makeup 35mm 1.7f at the same time. This is the best lens ever. background blur (bokeh) is pleasant, light "balls”; not ideal spheres, but it's good. The lens is just right for me. I seem to like a narrower field of view. It focuses well. One of my friends warned me about cheap lenses, saying they lose precise control over time and look into an eyeglass repair kit (a few bucks at the grocery/general store) to tighten any loose screws.
