Description of 📷 7artisans 55mm F1.4 II V2.0 Portrait Lens for Fuji X-Mount Cameras: Unleash Photography Brilliance!

X-Mount Lens, APS-C Format: The 7artisnas 55mm F1.4 Portrait-length lens is designed for APS-C-format Fuji X-mount mirrorless cameras and offers an 82.5mm equivalent focal length. Durable, Compact & Portable: Full-metal body only weighs 358g. Anodizing coloring design, which enhances the lens anti-corrosion, an-dirt functions, and its varnish not easy to removed. Aviation aluminum lens mount & electroplated tungsten steel color, which is resistant to abrasion and corrosion. Ideal Aperture: Its optical system consists of 6 elements in 5 groups. Bright f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working with shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques, and also suits photographing in low-light conditions. A 9-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Multi-layer Coating: The multi-layer coating has been applied to individual elements and reduces flare and ghosting in order to produce greater contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Manual Focus: Manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 42cm. Depth of field and distance scales aid pre-focusing and zone focusing techniques.

All is well; but not for me

I really wanted/needed to like the lens so I can use it for my portraits. but in the end I let go. He's well built and all but. Cons - Chromatic aberration - Ghosting - Bokeh spheres tend to be soft and look like a cat's eye towards the corners. - Slightly bluish - Soft plus points - Price - You can take really good pictures with it. it all depends on your budget; I'd rather wait for Fujinon. There is now a better option: TTArtisans.

Great value portrait lens for ASP-C

Slightly blurred around the edges at full aperture (may be suitable for portrait photography). Sharpens fully at f4. Just a great little lens if you don't mind focusing yourself. Also, I should note that the aperture ring doesn't click, the clicks don't stop. Other than that, I don't see the slightest flaw in this lens. Of course, it's better to spend many hundreds on an OEM portrait lens, especially if you don't make a living as a portrait photographer. It also works great with my macro…

For the money this is an amazing lens

Suggestion: I'm new to interchangeable lens photography. I have an X-T30 with an XC15-45mm kit lens. I ordered this lens (7 craftsman 55mm 1.4f) and a makeup 35mm 1.7f at the same time. This is the best lens ever. background blur (bokeh) is pleasant, light "balls”; not ideal spheres, but it's good. The lens is just right for me. I seem to like a narrower field of view. It focuses well. One of my friends warned me about cheap lenses, saying they lose precise control over time and look into an…

Sharp enough, great bokeh, fun

Lots of fun with flat bokeh and easy controls. Bezels aren't cut (no clicks), which I like, but many don't. Focus has a good cast. a sharp lens, not too heavy like the Kamlan 50mm 1.1 v2. and to make matters worse, it's cheap. For some odd reason, mine came with a lens case that seems designed for a large FF lens. Useless. Anyway, I like this lens and think it's a good cheap alternative to Fuji's own offerings if you're willing to give up autofocus. You *have* to disable the default setting on…

Good build quality, fast and cheap portrait lens

I already have a 25mm 7artisans lens that I really like, so I thought it was worth the risk, a 55mm lens to buy - for the price you can definitely get. do nothing wrong. They are not available here in South Africa and I was amazed at the speed with which the package arrived: earlier than promised. A free velcro pouch and cleaning kit are a bonus. The lens is sturdy and well made. The only downsides are the no-click aperture ring and the fact that the aperture and focus rings are in their places

Thoughtful packaging. Amazing little lens

First very thoughtful packaging. You get a lens, two bags to store the lens (one made of thin fabric, the other shock-absorbing). With a pair of microfiber gloves. The lens seems solid. I don't want to complain about a lack of edge sharpness, that's not why I bought this lens. This should be my portrait lens and this is how I rate it. The focus ring is smooth. Don't forget to turn on the lensless setting as the lens doesn't send any data to the camera. I chose it because I couldn't afford…

Nice little lens. â Lenses

Tried a few other Chinese manual lenses for my XPro2 just to get around. This one was a clear winner over the others. Good solid build quality and features that outweigh its weight for its price. The focus ring is silky soft and cushions perfectly for me. The aperture ring is tighter than others I've tried, but that's a good thing as it doesn't click. The only reason I didn't give that 5 stars was the no-click aperture ring. Although this feature seems to be all the rage on modern aftermarket…

Cons
  • Not the best

Unfortunately for me this lens goes back to Revain but it could be a good choice for you depending on what you are looking for! Attached are two photos, the first was taken with a Fujifilm XF 56mm f1.2 at f1.4. The second is 7artisan at f1.4 (hereafter "7a"). Look, I know I'm comparing it to a lens that costs almost ten times as much, but you have to know exactly what you're getting into. with this guy. The first thing you'll notice is the difference in the amount of light captured - shutter…
