Slightly blurred around the edges at full aperture (may be suitable for portrait photography). Sharpens fully at f4. Just a great little lens if you don't mind focusing yourself. Also, I should note that the aperture ring doesn't click, the clicks don't stop. Other than that, I don't see the slightest flaw in this lens. Of course, it's better to spend many hundreds on an OEM portrait lens, especially if you don't make a living as a portrait photographer. It also works great with my macro extenders. Excellent purchase!
