The thermostat needed to be replaced immediately. So I watched a YouTube video about this coffee maker and weak coffee. If it doesn't brew for more than 7 minutes , it has a bad thermostat Bought 2 new thermostats (as recommended in the video) and waiting 3 weeks for them to arrive (probably from China) Until the new part arrives I have to brew the weak coffee and then pour the top I will tell everyone advise against buying this product. UPDATE: So new thermostats have arrived. Not worth replacing the faulty one. So I'm buying a brand new coffee maker. I can't express how pissed I would be if the new pot did problems!
