Despite concerns about a width of only 2 mm, the rug fits snugly on the table and has a good grip on the surface of the tabletop. The material of the sliding surface itself is excellent. I don’t know how to describe it, but it looks like the fabric of some T-shirt, compacted a million times, with the addition of a small rubber effect (I described it as best I could, sorry). Most of all, I was afraid that when the mouse was removed from the pad, there would be some empty space between the mouse sensor and the pad itself, due to which the movement of the mouse would still be registered, but fortunately with this pad there are no such problems from the word at all. It is very, very pleasant to glide over the surface with a mouse: a confident grip is felt, while there is a very microscopic sliding effect, but it is just pleasant and adds a relaxing effect, as it were, of smoothness.
