As I sit here eating my wonderful fluffy rice, I think I should check my rice cooker. Tomorrow is March 1st 2021 and I bought it on April 15th 2020 so it's only a year old and it's still working great so it's not a month old crap. You'll get your money's worth with this little SLAPS thing. I have cooked in it a lot. Plenty of pulled pork, stews, butter chicken, soups, broths and of course rice. It has a pretty decent capacity. I could cook enough beef burgundy to feed four people in one night with small leftovers. It's not that hard to clean, just don't forget it haha. Pay attention to the inside of the rubber ring on the underside of the lid, especially if like me you're constantly overfilling the damn thing. lol it might be a little harder to clean but you can fill it almost to the brim and it cooks great just messing up the lid. The only criticisms are that the non-stick coating on the inside scratches easily, so DO NOT use metal objects to stir or serve, and that the settings are a bit vague and the instructions don't give much detail about the temperature. I think the slow cooker setting is the same as the 'high' setting of a regular slow cooker? I know a pork fork can be pulled in 6 hours. Overall, I'm pretty broke (thanks for taking pay cuts due to COVID!), and I'm really glad I chose this rice cooker over the $100 alternative I was looking at. That's a little champion.
