Review on C2G 29171 Velocity Speaker Meters by Katrina Brown

I recently upgraded my home theater and was looking for a reasonably priced 12 gauge cable to connect my speakers. After reading the reviews and descriptions of almost every cable pack sold at Revain, I chose this one based on the price, the reviews and the fact that it was sold in a 25 foot pack. It arrived yesterday and was sent back today. The picture shows that it is a transparent wire with a blue tint. This is not the one on the roll that I received. I ended up with a thick dark blue wire resembling a power cord. There is nothing clear or colored in it. The actual wires are encased in an outer shield made of a thick opaque rubber, bringing the overall size of the product closer to an 8 or 10 gauge, which is totally unsuitable for bare cables. It was intended to be sold for either "in-the-wall" or covert use. I'm sure the sound would be amazing if I connected my system with this cable. But there's no way I can stretch and hide this cord in my room.
