Difficult to cut but sounds great

I needed speaker wire urgently and found it from Revain for same day delivery. Good. I've stripped a lot of speaker wire over the years, but this material had a hard coating that peeled away. Once that was done, cutting through the plastic case to expose the bare wire was too difficult, even with the right wire cutters. Some time passed and my fingers hurt. Very misleading description/pictures

I recently upgraded my home theater and was looking for a reasonably priced 12 gauge cable to connect my speakers. After reading the reviews and descriptions of almost every cable pack sold at Revain, I chose this one based on the price, the reviews and the fact that it was sold in a 25 foot pack. Not suitable for walls. Wiring and connection info

I'm building a house and will have a media room, so I'm planning on pre-wiring for surround sound and network. I've been looking for 12AWG wire in the wall for a while and searched and found this wire.
