I have an ornamental blacksmithing business and work predominantly with coal forges but the sale price on this unit was so good that I figured I would pick one up.The length of the chamber makes it great for heating long lengths for scroll work or blades and I have even effectively heated 1-1/4" square stock for forging in this cheap little forge. It doesn't seem to hog gas too badly and to top it off it is light and portable for storage if I need it out of the way.I have worked with forced air gas forged that I like better than this, but there is literally nothing bad I can say about this forge, especially given the low price.
