This is an awesome forge. It was easy to set up and use right away. The video I've included with this review was the first day I received this forge. I had it setup and propane connected in minutes. The directions and assembly are really simple and pretty straightforward.In the video I've included, I just put some scrap metal inside to heat it up and test it out but I didn't really have the propane flow/air mix adjusted properly. (If it sounds odd in the video, that's why.) Even with the flow not adjusted properly, it was still able to heat up the metal in seconds.The dimensions of this forge are awesome and it's definitely big enough to make even the largest knives/swords when you remove the end cap. This was the biggest "feature" or design part of this forge that I personally liked.I'd been looking up how to build my own forge and I was originally planning on welding one together myself, but with a custom built forge, it'd be tough to make it easy to close the end and it just wouldn't be as nice looking as this one.I don't really plan to make giant swords right away or anything either, but it's nice to know this forge can kind of "grow with me" as I improve and try to build larger things.The one issue I had when assembling the forge, was just that one of the threads on one of the propane connectors was slightly "off". It felt like I actually had to force it on and I couldn't figure out why/didn't want to strip the threads. Eventually I ended up sort of "forcing" it on and the threads ended up straightening out and working properly. Just thought I'd mention this though since it was a slight issue with assembly.Other than that though, I really haven't had any issues with this forge yet and it's been great so far. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for an easy to use and setup forge that's decently priced too!
