Pros: Sturdy construction; good grip Disadvantages: The teeth are poorly made and do not mesh well. The extreme end of the tip is fine, but there's an area halfway down the jaws where there's a decent gap between the teeth with some metal residue on some teeth, and then there's a big gap further down the jaws. I'll probably be able to compensate for this by choosing which part of the jaws I want to use for specific things I need to get my hands on. However, given the limited space (to work in which I bought them) I won't always have that opportunity. Also, the compound is very stiff and a bit grainy. I applied some brake oil which added some sand and helped make the movement smoother, but it's still difficult to get more precise with these one-handed knobs. Conclusion: They work for most applications if you have a little patience. and strong hands, but there are better pliers.
