Excellent quality power tools and hand tools

I like Tekton tools. Outstanding quality for the price. These are good needle nose pliers. I don't use them much but wanted to add a few to my toolbox for when I need them. I first bought another brand here at Revain because it was a dollar cheaper and the quality was so bad I returned it and bought this one. What a difference in quality. I am happy with these pliers and they are a great addition to my tool box.

Picture and description are deceptive.

Although I can use them for some applications, they are not what I expected. Another lesson we learned from online shopping. Based on the picture and description of this product I assumed they would be a suitable replacement for the broken Xcelite pliers. They're thicker and possibly more durable, but I can't use them in most cases when I need to service electronics. That's why I hate online shopping!

probably 4.5 stars - Pliers

Good pliers with long needles, there is a lot of "kickback" from the handles when you squeeze the handle, the long handles bend and bend. it could have broken, but I was a little surprised at how many jerks there were. The center pivot itself releases well after a little tooling and feels comfortable in my hand. Also, this tool doesn't have a cutter, it's not designed to cut wires or anything like that. The curved end is designed to put the pliers in a natural, comfortable position as I have…

I don't need them often.

. but nothing else takes up space when I do. It was one of those awkward jobs where you had to put on a high-visibility nut, but I couldn't get my hand through the gap. With the right setup, I could take some old needle nose pliers and improvise, but I don't have a furnace, forge, or place to do that. I am happy to report that I have a little more of this uncomfortable work to do. before me. But if I didn't, I'd still have another in my somewhat ridiculous collection of tools that I bought…

Excellent quality for the price

A few years ago I lost my curved needle nose pliers, never bothered to replace them and cursed every time I did something that would be easier with them. Finally ordered and I was very happy with the quality. The fit at the top is very precise, there is no lateral slipping. I was surprised by some of the negative reviews, they are designed exactly how they are supposed to work properly. toolbox. I'll probably order a few more for my truck tool box.

Useful fishing tool.

We use them to fish for bass - sometimes the soft plastic bait gets swallowed and I hate killing bass when I can avoid it. But for me they have to be used with 10" Knipex dykes from Germany. Yes, Knipex are expensive, but they ALWAYS cut through a hardened worm hook. Hook, then I cut the shank with Knipex. The hook comes with minimal trauma to the Rod out. I've read a lot of research on how to leave hooks in a perch's mouth - it gives us a better feeling, but these hooks don't actually rust and

Nose sanded/bent and returned to warehouse/distribution

Received them today and called Amazon customer service as you could see they were sanded and probably returned to someone and resold. They also had the curved appearance of previously used tools. Check out the photos provided. I've worked with tools my whole life and I can tell when something has been used before and mediocre work has been used to make it salable again. Revane wanted me to give her back. I said no because they would just be taken back to the warehouse and sold to someone else…

Not very good, but probably adequate

Pros: Sturdy construction; good grip Disadvantages: The teeth are poorly made and do not mesh well. The extreme end of the tip is fine, but there's an area halfway down the jaws where there's a decent gap between the teeth with some metal residue on some teeth, and then there's a big gap further down the jaws. I'll probably be able to compensate for this by choosing which part of the jaws I want to use for specific things I need to get my hands on. However, given the limited space (to work in…

Quality pliers on needle nose pliers

Full disclosure, I bought these on the recommendation of a youtuber who tests tools. They were offered as good budget pliers compared to the preferred but significantly more expensive Knipex. I won't lie I plan to get Kniex in the future but they are excellent. For my purpose of synchronizing my car's engine I needed a pair of pliers to reach into a narrow but deep oil filled channel, grab a plastic cap with sharpened teeth AND an o-ring and pull it out. And if I didn't want to remove my heat…
