One thing I have to say first is that you have enough space around the unit, about 2-3 feet on all sides, as it will blow out warm air if there isn't enough space around the unit free space is available. It blows out fairly cool air, I'd say somewhere around 60F and below when the filter is frozen (remember to wet it before freezing). I usually use it when I get home from work and especially at night. At night I have to cover myself with a thin blanket. The water lasts a little over 8 hours on the 2nd setting, maybe 6 hours on the high temp. Plus or minus. All in all it's a good device and if I were to change something maybe the water would be at the bottom and the filter could touch the water to keep it wet. Other than that I'm happy with the purchase and might even get another one to cool my living room even more using 2 of these.
