. I agree with the reviewers who had issues with the self-adhesive filter on the trash can lid. This is clearly a design flaw, as the self-adhesive pad is flush with the surface and therefore cannot stick. A simple solution would be a thicker sticker. This was definitely a surprise as the SimpleHuman products are the best of the bunch and should have been better. Another problem is that nothing on the packaging says that the activated carbon filter can be charged in the sun. If this feature is not known to anyone but me, it should be listed or not mentioned in the Revain article. Otherwise it should be a great article, eye-catching, nicely made and with a great concept, especially since the SimpleHuman trash can seems to absorb odors after a while.
