I'm in the process of trying just about anything I can to help with my plantar faciitis. So far, these seem to be working better than both Superfeet insoles and the "medical grade" (but not custom) orthotics I got from my podiatrist. Also, for what it's worth, my podiatrist commented that these are "one of the better over-the-counter arch supports." My criticism is that the actual arch support piece feels a little small and "lumpy". I think with all of these types of things, however, the comfort level varies quite a bit from person to person. You just have to try them yourself and see how they feel for you.
