Review on 🔧 Efficient and Portable Slime 40059 Tire Inflator Jr.: The Ultimate Solution for Easy Tire Inflation by Jose Baldwin

I don't know if this is genuine Slime product or fake but this product was very disappointing. I have used several Slime products over the years and have been very happy with the results, but not this one. I bought it to inflate tires on my bike but it was problematic right out of the box. In order for the compressor to even turn on, I had to loosen the plug so much that when I turned the unit off I felt a small flow of air out of the valve. So reading the onboard pressure gauge immediately raised suspicions, so I had to stop constantly during inflation to check the pressure with a handheld pressure gauge to make sure I wasn't over-inflating the tire. Cotton point.2.) It took 4-5 minutes to bring the air pressure in my tire from 40psi to 75psi, 4-5 times longer than my previous compressor. Since this device is a bit smaller and more compact than my previous one, I'm willing to make a correction, but I was frustrated that the sensor kept moving up (albeit slowly) for 20-30 seconds before snapping in place and Body froze 20-30 seconds. another 20-30 seconds before moving again. I'm not sure if it's a gauge or compressor issue, but it's another reason I had to manually check the current tire pressure. 3.) The power cord is long enough for my needs, but the cord connecting the compressor to the tire valve was so short that I had to hold the compressor while the tire was inflating. Halfway to the first hoop I felt that the unit was getting very hot. I didn't think about it until I had the rear tire halfway inflated when the unit suddenly got too hot to hold and started SMOKING. I immediately unplugged it and popped it in a metal trash can with the lid on in case it caught fire and just let it cool for a couple of hours. When I tried the device a few hours later, I couldn't even turn it on. Suffice it to say I would NOT recommend ordering this device. I would still consider the Slime product in the future but definitely not this one which I'm not even sure is legit. Pooh.
