will work with extended studs but note they are not fully threaded from stud seat to outer end. It should be easier to clean when needed while still being strong enough for track use as it is forged. I sealed mine to prevent rusting inside. They are still better than aluminum in my opinion as the threads are more resistant to breaking or striating when using steel.
