looks good, better than aluminum

will work with extended studs but be aware they are unthreaded from the lug seat to the outer end. It should be easier to clean when needed while still being strong enough for track use as it is forged. I sealed mine to prevent rusting inside. They are still better than aluminum in my opinion as the threads are more resistant to breaking or striating when using steel.

Pros
  • Open lugs allow for extended wheel studs
Cons
  • Nothing here

Top Nut for Locknuts and Accessories

This is a very good quality nut. If you need an open design to cover the top extended wheel stud you probably bought that too soaking up the rigors of racing this premium product is for you.I bought the chrome finish because I don't need to be disappointed if the paint rips off with my percussion gun.It happens with every brand you buy, but then again, you get them because you want hardened steel, not because they're shiny, aren't they?

Pros
  • 3/4" Hex with Domed Seat
Cons
  • Capacity

will work with extended studs but note they are not fully threaded from stud seat to outer end. It should be easier to clean when needed while still being strong enough for track use as it is forged. Pros
  • Double knurled end for easy assembly and disassembly
Cons
  • The list will go on.

The top end nut is the best of the accessories and parts

This is a very high quality nut. If you're just into tuning, buy something else and save some money. If you need an open design to cover the upper extended wheel stud, which you also likely bought to soak up the rigors of racing, this premium product is for you. I bought the chrome finish because I don't need to be disappointed if the paint chipped off with my punch gun. It happens with every brand you buy, but then again, you buy them because you want hardened steel, not because they're shiny,

Pros
  • Manufactured from forged steel for strength and durability
Cons
  • Not bad

I will never put them in any other car I own.

In less than a year of using my Gorilla nuts, a thick layer of rust has built up on the inside of the threads. I used to use shorter eye studs and the new threads have since rusted completely. Long hairpins, dammit. With normal stress in the car, in the form of rain, car washes, etc., I can no longer wear anything but the fresh thread that was previously completely oxidized. will negate any animosity toward my rusty nuts, but after speaking to a Gorilla Automotive consultant, that's not the…

Pros
  • Open end eyelets allow for longer wheel studs
Cons
  • Large and bulky
