Review on 🔧 Rugged Ridge 11116.21 Hood Catch Kit, Silver - Compatible with 2018-Current Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Models by Terry Wright

I love these bonnet latches and they are a perfect replacement for the factory bonnet latches or whatever you have now. I bought these black textured hood latches for my 2011. Call of Duty Black Ops Rubicon as I feared they would eventually weather and rot. The instructions were not as well written as they could have been. Not included in the parts list are 6 washers (which I found on the bottom of the box after the installation was complete) and 2 hood bumpers which I found to be much better than the stock OEM bumpers. The installation was a bit fiddly. relative to the lower anchor. I have small hands and struggled to get the 13mm nuts on. Fitting the top latch was very easy and once the bottom latch was installed the rest of the installation was easy. I can see the fairing can weather easily, so I'll take it off in late spring or so to put shims on and spray everything onto the bed lining. I miss black on my black jeep! These bonnet latches are very strong and I have a feeling they will survive everything I looked at before buying them. It would be nice if every wrangler brought these or something similar. I would recommend these clearly superior hood latches to anyone who owns a Wrangler. Touches as they make the Jeep more durable where it really matters.
