Review on πŸ‡ Fiesta 2.25 Salt and Pepper Shaker in Mulberry by David Edwards

Perfect color and size and will not leak!

I was afraid they were the wrong color or they were too small but they are perfect either way. I've included a photo next to the butter knife to show how big they are as you can't tell for sure. They seem small but they hold a lot! They appear to be made from quality materials and the color is well done. Not flimsy and cheap, no chips or cracks. The filling holes are just the right size. You have an extra hole for salt, as it should be. Some shaker sets are cheap and no longer have that distinction, so I was happy to see they are. The only downside, which is also a plus, is that it's very VERY difficult to deal with traffic jams. It's almost impossible to take them out and put them back in. It was very uncomfortable. But that's a good thing as they are very flexible, thick rubber for their size and form a tight seal deep in the rim of the shaker so no grains can escape from those suction cups! Tip: Make sure you don't pour too much into the shaker or the cork won't go back in because it goes in about half an inch unlike any other flat cork I've seen. You must leave room for them. As seldom as they have to be filled, this is not a problem. And the benefit far outweighs this minor annoyance, which is actually a good thing because I've had leaky shakers before and they suck and suck! I would prefer it. I am very impressed. This is exactly what I was looking for. If anything changes I will update.
