The cat continued to fight and literally stood beside him.

Nothing happened. I've tried it on a few times when they spend a lot of time together, no difference. If anything, the one cat who is the instigator seems to be even more territorial and aggressive. She was literally standing less than a foot from him and freaked out when another cat walked by. On top of that, it also heats up to the point of fear. This stuff was expensive and very disappointing.
