Used to check gas line pressure (1/2" PE lined ACR tube) and it has worked flawlessly. It has withstood 3psi for over 2 hours which means that my solder joints don't have any leaks.. or bells! I completely disassembled the unit before using it and reapplied fresh pipe sealant to make sure it wasn't leaking around the Schrader valve or gauge threads.much more to make your own from scratch (I'm a locksmith so believe me you can't even start making your own cheaper even if you have a stash of hex lying around in your shop).
