Like many homeowners, I have a collection of drill bits, screws, bolts, etc., as well as wood dowels and other household items. This product is solidly built and has saved me from guessing size when going to the hardware store for parts or having to choose the right size drill, screw or bolt for the job. It hasn't amazed me to this day and works well enough that I bought a second one for my tool bag that I use when helping friends or family in their place. It's worth noting that I have similar products from other vendors that didn't cost much less but were much less durable. So far it has survived life on the top shelf of my tool box unscathed. My guess is that if you get really rough with it you can knock off one of the smaller pieces on the ends (especially ledge 6 or 8), but also don't just throw it around like it's indestructible.
