The original garland I wanted had copper tones and jagged shapes resembling small pagodas. Unfortunately they have been discontinued. The closest I could find were complementary silver tones instead of copper and solid colors with no shells. But in the light they look great and I'm very happy with them. Hopefully they'll reduce light pollution by directing the light downwards, and maybe give some extra brightness through reflection, although these lights don't need it. I'm happy, but I hope that if all my lamps burn out and need to be replaced, either the company is still in business and I can get a different lamp chain, or these lampshades fit a different brand. I'm tempted to buy another set in case there are more than 48 in a future string of lights these shades are discontinued and I won't have enough. Yes, I plan ahead because when I find something I like, I hate when it breaks and all substitutions stop. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
