Visually appealing. These elements greatly improve the appearance of the outdoor lighting string. The inconsistent design makes assembly a real challenge. Be prepared to spend a lot of time modifying what should be an easy and quick build.

Bought 2 sets for Halloween decoration and they look very good! Not just during the spooky season, but I'm sure they'll be fantastic for summer nights on the patio. What I didn't notice was the lid for the brand garlands. I bought different garlands and had to customize the top cap. So be sure to buy the right bulbs so you don't run into trouble!

I liked these lightweight suitcases with cages because they are metal and for some reason I thought they were cheap plastic! They are durable and snap into place with a little pressure. I had a different brand of solar strings but made sure the bulbs were removable as you have to remove the bulb, put the dome cap on the socket and then the bulb comes back and tightens the cap. Then the cell simply snaps into place. Beautiful patina look on the dark bronze finish with hints of copper. Very nice…

The original garland I wanted had copper tones and jagged shapes resembling small pagodas. Unfortunately they have been discontinued. The closest I could find were complementary silver tones instead of copper and solid colors with no shells. But in the light they look great and I'm very happy with them. Hopefully they'll reduce light pollution by directing the light downwards, and maybe give some extra brightness through reflection, although these lights don't need it. I'm happy, but I hope…
