Review on πŸš— The Stop Shop 25ft of 3/16 Inch (4.75mm) Copper Nickel Brake Line with Fittings - Durable & High-Quality Automotive Tubing by Kevin Shimmens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I will never use steel again!

I used this line to make all the new brake lines for my dad's 1967 Ford F-250 that has been in the business for 25 years. All of the lines on this truck converge at the narrowest point of the entire truck, which is clamped in the frame by the steering box, so a perfect line bend was crucial. It ended up taking me over 25 feet but it worked great and was very easy to work with compared to steel. Auto Parts Store. I've heard of nicopp for brake lines but I usually needed to get the car back on the road asap so I never had time to order and service it. After using it once, I will always have something close by. Compared to steel cord, this material is so easy to bend and work with that it feels like I'm cheating. It's not just that you can bend it by hand; I have the tools, but with them you can easily make tight turns without bending the line and ruining the rest of your hard work. Less bending force also contributes to better bend control. One last note, beware of some unscrupulous vendors who sell so-called nickel-copper brake hoses, but that's not the case. Some of them appear to be copper-coated steel lines. You can trust The Stop Shop to sell you the real deal.
