The fact that it's a travel mug is great because it's small and easy to use. The downside is that it's not isolated. The temperature required for a French Press is too high to safely hold this cup with bare hands and the contents will cool down very quickly compared to drinking the contents. The drinking lid is only attached to the press cylinder, not to the cup. The o-ring is only on the press cylinder and it's still leaking out of the cylinder and drinking cap. All in all a good mug if it costs half as much. I've had the best travel mugs that don't run out of local dollar stores.
