Review on Performance Intake 57 2581 Lifetime 2011 2014 by Junior Andreano

I wanted a nicer sound from the 5.0 but didn't want to make irreversible or expensive changes. I checked out this kit and one of the reviewers said it sounded good and was loud enough that they no longer need an exhaust. I had to see it myself so after installing it and driving it I can say the same. Sounds great in every way. It has a great tone when you turn it on and instantly falls silent when you let go. With a small throttle, everything is like stock. Give it a little more, though, and you get nice tones without having to wind it up too much. I like the features. It's YMMV, but it's actually made for a specific line of single-engine trucks, so maybe not really. In any case, I'm very happy and I'm sure you would be happy too if you were looking for the same thing. It's a lot less than exhaust work and I'm glad I went that route first.
