I am always sweating during any spring or summer outdoor event. I got tired of stealing menus and looking for pieces of cardboard to fan myself with, and decided to buy a fan. It was great. I'm a big guy with big hands, so its no issue for me, but I know small girls had issues using it for sustained amounts of time.
