I use nitrile gloves when working on cars and boats and usually buy Grease Monkey brand gloves that are 4 mil thick. Due to the pandemic they are nowhere to be found, so you must try other brands. Despite the very high price I took a risk and bought two boxes as they were advertised at 4 mil and I am used to using them. These gloves appear to be much thinner than the Grease Monkey gloves, the box doesn't list 4 mils (and gives no indication of how thick they really are) and they rip at the slightest strain. They won't withstand chemicals like acetone for even a few seconds - Grease Monkey gloves last at least a few minutes before breaking. If you are looking for nitrile gloves for working on cars, boats or chemicals I would recommend looking elsewhere.
