I work on a dock in Chicago. With this balaclava I've been on my first shift for three hours. Now 18 degrees. While I can look at the stitching and say it's well made, the fact of the matter is that my regular $7 balaclava is just as warm. The good thing about wool is that if it covers the mouth as advertised, the area doesn't feel as damp and it retains heat better. To me, however, that doesn't justify the fact that it's $33 more expensive than my regular one. And I definitely wouldn't go for any of their thinner fabrics.
