FITS MY 2015 HONDA CIVIC SE SEDAN

For those looking for the correct part # Maxpider kagu 3D Floor Mats for SE 2015 SE Honda Civic Sedan this part number will fit 2013 Civic - FITS! A search on Revain as well as the flooring manufacturer's website that matches the 2015 Honda Civic SE sedan only lists the rear and cargo liners. There is one part number to order FRONT and REAR liners together to fit a Honda Civic EX or EX-L sedan and another part number for a 2015 Honda Civic Type R1 or R2 (what the heck is that ?) -> after much trolling. Internet is a hatchback. And another number for the Honda Civic Coupé. Here's my theory, and I could be wrong, but here is (maybe I can save you the same confusing hassle I went through trying to find the right flooring). Honda made major body design changes to the Honda Civic SEDAN in 2012/2013 - I suspect no changes were made to the SEDAN prior to 2015, with the exception of the 2015 EX model. The SE Honda Civic Sedan is the base model. Honda LX model with some hardware upgrades. So I believe the part number for the floor mat for the 2012/2013 Honda Civic sedan will be the same as all years prior to 2015 except the 2015 EX. This is why when you search for 2015 Honda Civic liners you will only find the EX kit - because that is the only change in 2015 for sedans. In any case, the description of the Revain is very vague "to fit selected Honda Civic" but gives no indication of which Civic model it is. The difference between the 2015 EX part number and the 2012/2013 part number is that the liner fits the TRUNK/GAS release lever along the driver's left floor panel. The 2015 EX balaclava has a longer neckline. So if you put them in a 2015 Lx or SE there will be a gap before and after the release lever. Last but not least, even if the liner is installed correctly, the fit in the trunk/throttle lever area is not precise. When you choose WEATHERTECH flooring for your Civic, it's EXACT. I really like the carbon fiber pattern and the simple, stylish look of KAGU maxpider liners compared to the Weather Tech, so it's a compromise. Hope this helps you find suitable liners - subscribe!
