Review on Adidas Ultraboost Mens Fw4904 Size by Bradley Mutha

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Definitely increase the size

As countless reviewers have said, you should give them a small rating. I don't have very big feet, I usually wear a size 10-10½ comfortably. I took the recommendation to go up a size to heart and did just that by dialing 11. However, I found that the 11½ was $30 cheaper and figured I could do it and bought it instead. The interior of the shoe is comfortable and not cramped with a decent amount of room for me. What is not comfortable is the tightness around my ankles, the top is one piece, the tongue is not separated from the sides of the boot at all. Although they fit my foot easily, I have a hard time getting my foot in them as the opening is so small. Please allow me to reiterate that I can carry 10 comfortably, but I usually buy 10½ to reduce my break time. These things are a size and a half too big for me and I can barely put my foot in them (press my foot with both hands). Once comfortable there were no issues with my foot other than the hole still pushing the hell out of my ankle. The opening is too small/narrow to be that tight considering they are a size and a half larger than I usually wear. They are quite uncomfortable at the ankle and I'm just guessing that the size of the opening probably won't increase. when actual shoe size increases. No loose laces help, the hole you put your foot in is way too small for me to comfortably put them on let alone put my foot in. Sizing wise, my foot sits comfortably with plenty of room when they are on my foot. As far as wearing them, they're comfortable, no complaints, but they're not magically better than any other shoe. They feel comfortable and I like them for that, but I wouldn't say they are more than just a comfortable pair of shoes. Average 3/5. Give them 4/5 for comfort, but for the $180 I paid I don't feel like they're anything special either. I really hope they stretch a bit and if they stretch in a week I'll update the review but given the tightness of the hole on my ankle I don't know how realistic that is. --- As of July they are still difficult to put on, I've gotten used to them being tight around my ankle. Not painful but can still be uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing. The rubber sole on the bottom has noticeable wear, I rarely wear them, maybe once a week as a 'good' pair of shoes, and try to keep them clean. During my wearing time, the rubber outsole generally wears out quickly, but only in one place (the ball of the foot). It's close to wearing in the boost, in the 6 months I've had I've probably worn them less than 30 times. The rubber outsole in this area was thin from the start, almost on purpose, then I tried changing the way I walk to reduce wear in this area, but it doesn't help much. I have maybe a whole month to wear these shoes considering I wear them once a week at most and never work. I find it unacceptable for the sole of a shoe to be nearly worn out in that time, much less that it's a $180 pair of shoes.

Pros
  • Very comfortable shoes, I don't like anything great for walking, running, it would be great if it was a steel toe lol jake.
Cons
  • Buena comodidad pero el material de la suela mucho que desear.
