Some of the low rated reviews for this tinsel commented on how fragile it was and how it fell apart. It's delicate, and if you're planning on using it in a place where there's constant touching or tugging, it might not work for you. I used it as the dinner table backdrop for my ladies night out and it was perfect. When I installed it I handled it carefully so as not to tear off the fringes and when it was lifted I tried not to touch it. again. It looked amazing and really gave my party a whimsical flair. I covered it with black plastic tablecloths to show it off better and hid the wall behind the fringe. That was excellent. It held up so well that I was able to assemble it with zip ties and store it again for another use. I really like these fringed curtains. Warning: If you have cats that like to chew on this type of material, be careful when hanging the curtain. My cat was able to chew on a few threads and swallow a few before I realized she was eating them. Luckily she threw them back, but it can be dangerous for cats and small animals if they eat it.
