Everything was fine with them, except for the aftermath.
I've been doing watercolors for a few months now and have started with cheaper Michaels brushes. They were fine except for the shedding. I needed inexpensive brushes that wouldn't shed and that I could play around with without spending a fortune. They are really great and hold water and paint well. It also comes in many sizes. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because they are ridiculously long for everyday painting. I wish they weren't so long because it's difficult to travel with them and use them to draw. I have attached some photos to show the size comparison to help you decide. I think they are worth it because I like the quality and the size issue is not worth not using them. Update: I've used them about 8-10 times and last night I noticed some of the large brushes were falling out a bit. . I'm sad because they seemed to be holding up well, but I'll keep using them for now.
