Having bought this for something it wasn't intended for I have to say it's holding up pretty well. My bearded dragon crawls on the sides and the web is holding up well under her claws, I think she's already fumbling about getting out because the sides fold slightly under her weight (she's a big lizard) so if you can get it for a small animal , keep an eye on them whether they can get out or not, I like small kites but if they are big you should take other measures (I took a big piece of mesh and buttons to make a cover for mine and it works well)
